SWING

Learn to dance in a fun and safe environment, and discover how to connect with a partner and the music with our vibrant community of dancers. This class will focus on 8-count basic moves.

This class is intended for those with absolutely no experience, or those wishing to solidify their understanding of eight-count steps and technique in their quest for mastery. No partner necessary!

Looking to stretch your skills and comfort zone? Come join us for a class composed of advanced intermediate concepts, such as footwork variations, swing out variations, handling dips, and gaining empathy for the alternate role which will lead to “baby aerials” - the frog jump in tandem Charleston and other positions!

The Next Step is a five week lesson series for advanced beginner and intermediate dancers. Those who are comfortable with six and eight count basic moves and the principles of leading and following are welcome to join us. Dancers who are comfortable with swingouts and Charleston will get the most benefit from this particular series.

Our class emphasizes learning in a safe, friendly and supportive environment. You do not need to sign up with a partner.

This advanced beginner class will help you become a better social dancer! You will gain the knowledge, experience and confidence to fluidly mix movements between six- and eight-count patterns, and expand your repertoire by introducing six- and eight-count variations of patterns you already know.
