Intro to Social Lindy Hop

Learn to dance in a fun and safe environment, and discover how to connect with a partner and the music with our vibrant community of dancers. This class will focus on 8-count basic moves.
This class is intended for those with absolutely no experience, or those wishing to solidify their understanding of eight-count steps and technique in their quest for mastery. No partner necessary!
Registration includes entry to our monthly social dance, Jazz Cats Social.

7pm - 8:15pm
Classes will start at 7:05pm and run until 8:15pm - please arrive by 7pm on the first evening to check in and sign your waiver.

Repertoire & Sequences

Interested in being able to dance a greater variety of moves? In this series we will introduce new sequences of moves that flow well together, and work on our ability to lead and follow them with confidence on the social dance floor.
This is a five week lesson series for advanced beginner and intermediate dancers. Those that are comfortable with six and eight count basic moves and the principles of leading and following are welcome to join us.
Our class emphasizes learning in a safe, friendly and supportive environment. You do not need to sign up with a partner.
